One of the authors whose books I love to read is Max Lucado. Max has a unique, “regular guy” way of telling life changing stories to his readers, but often in a humorous manner. He is not afraid to expose his own trials, fears, and doubts in his writings which help his readers relate to not only Max’s trials, but also the many other real life characters described in his books. Additionally, in his books you are sure to find a clear and understandable view to take in dealing with the trials you can face in this life.
OK…. so here is one of my Max Lucado picks that I believe you would like: “In The Eye of the Storm”
Have you ever had a storm in your life? In his book, Max touches a nerve and exposes the storms that we can all face, but he also gives his readers a method they can use to decisively deal with them. The storms he discusses include: Storms of Stress & Demands Storms of Doubt Storms of Failure Max reminds his readers that storms come and usually they come quickly. But what you will find in his book, is how to find the right attitude and view, as modeled by the One with the highest view, to have an unsurpassed peace through these storms.
Have you read “In The Eye of the Storm”? Let me know what you thought about the book or any other books that you would suggest for dealing with life’s storms.
